About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of surgical specialties and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties, including: General Surgery, Gynecology (GYN), ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular Procedures
- Hands-on experience with: Robotic-assisted surgeries, Mako Robotics systems, Total Joint Replacement procedures
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State of Texas or Compact License)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Neuro/Spine surgeries
- Pediatric surgical experience
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including pre-operative assessments
- Assist physicians during surgeries and ensure adherence to sterile techniques
- Monitor patients’ conditions intraoperatively and postoperatively
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare
- Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and safety standards
