About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room Spine at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. The position is full-time, with day shifts. The nurse will act as a clinical advocate and care strategist, monitoring and communicating patient conditions for a safe transition to recovery. They will also serve as a safety and precision sentinel, maintaining the integrity of the sterile field, patient positioning, equipment optimization, and supply management. Additionally, the nurse will orchestrate the preparation of technology and supplies, staying ahead of the surgical team to ensure flawless procedure execution.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
