About The Position
We are seeking an OR Nurse to join our team within our Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center! Under the direction of the Operating Room Nurse Manager, the RN will participate in the coordination and delivery of all aspects of patient care delivered in an ambulatory surgery setting while maintaining compliance with policies and AORN practice standards.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS & ACLS Certified required upon hire
- Minimum of 3 years of OR experience
- Experience in all service lines with an emphasis on Ortho and GYN
- Team oriented yet independent RN to work in is a fast paced Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Able to work collaboratively with all members of the surgical team to provide safe and effective patient care
Nice To Haves
- PALS a plus
- Scrub experience a plus

- Patient care must reflect initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations and strive to maintain a steady level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- The RN must be flexible in working/supporting all areas of the unit as assigned and actively support service quality measures and initiatives to meet benchmarks and core measures.
