About The Position

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for their Operating Room (OR)/Surgery department. This position offers a competitive salary and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. The role involves providing direct patient care in a dynamic surgical environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the hospital's mission of making communities healthier. The OR-Surgery Department is equipped with 10 ORs and handles a variety of surgical specialties including Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, ENT, Neuro, and Podiatry. The team utilizes advanced technology such as the Da Vinci Xi robot and supports complex procedures including c-sections.

Requirements

• Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire (unless employee already has ACLS).
• Handle with care required within 30 days of orientation and annually thereafter.
• Must pass a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care that is appropriate to identified problems and involves the patient according to their capabilities and desires.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
