Requirements

  • NYS RN License Required
  • Accredited School of Nursing Graduate
  • 1 Year Operating Room RN Experience Required
  • BCLS Required

Nice To Haves

  • CNOR or ACLS Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.
