About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR). This role involves performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN will utilize standards of professional performance such as ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN must possess clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
Requirements
- ADN required
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- RN Experience in a hospital setting.
- OR experience
