As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at St. Anthony Hospital, you will provide direct patient advocacy and clinical support across a high-volume surgical department. This department features 17 suites, including a designated trauma room, a hybrid room, a CVOR, and a cystoscopy suite. The facility manages approximately 900-950 cases per month across a wide range of specialties such as General, Ortho (Trauma), Neuro, Spine, Eyes, ENT, GU, Robotics (DaVinci XI/SI), Vascular, Endovascular, Cardiac, and OB/GYN. While there is a specialized team for cardiac and neuro procedures, all other RNs are cross-trained for all remaining surgical services. Daily duties include performing circulating functions, providing intraoperative support such as managing sterile instruments and supplies, facilitating room turnovers, and restocking for subsequent procedures. St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center located in Lakewood, Colorado, providing a full range of medical specialties and healthcare services to Denver and the surrounding region through its state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms, including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. In 2023, the hospital received its Magnet designation, an achievement awarded to only 10 percent of hospitals worldwide. The hospital has also received numerous awards, certifications, and accreditations from organizations such as the American Heart Association, Chest Pain Center (CPC), American College of Cardiology, The Joint Commission, Emergency Nurses Association, NAPBC, and American College of Radiology. St. Anthony Hospital combines a heritage of expert care with the latest in technology and innovation. This role is ideal for someone looking to be part of a fast-paced environment where they can practice at the top of their profession in trauma, cardiology, stroke, neurosciences, breast imaging, cancer/oncology care, surgery, and more.
