About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in pediatric surgical care. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working across a wide range of surgical specialties in both adult and pediatric populations. This is a 13-week contract with possible extensions, located in Fort Myers, FL. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 5 PM, and on-call is required. A radius rule is in effect, excluding candidates within 50 miles of their permanent address.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
- Strong orthopedic (ortho) experience required
- Active BLS & ACLS certifications
- Active Florida or Compact RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys at time of submission)
- EMR experience: Epic
- Degree accreditation must be listed on profile OR candidate must have 5+ years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior travel experience preferred
