About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) to join a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in critical care settings and have a strong background in trauma and perioperative nursing.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state of practice)
- Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Strong clinical skills with high competency ratings on skills checklist
- Ability to work nights, on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience in burn trauma cases
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, CNOR (as applicable)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond effectively to changes during procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and standards
