Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Experienced Nurse Residency - CMC Tower Expansion
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) will participate in a Periop Residency program for experienced nurses. This program is a comprehensive five-month training designed to prepare Registered Nurses for practice in the Operating Room setting. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of prior nursing experience is strongly preferred.
