Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Experienced Nurse Residency - CMC Tower Expansion
About The Position
This role is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Operating Room Periop Residency program at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC. CMC is a Level 1 trauma center and an approved transplant center. The PeriOp 101 program is a comprehensive five-month training designed to prepare nurses for the Operating Room setting. As an RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic care. You will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- At least one year of prior nursing experience is strongly preferred.
