Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator
About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgicare at North Garland is seeking a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing nursing care and services during surgical cases, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the case. The facility is a multi-specialty surgery center focused on delivering high-quality outpatient surgical services with state-of-the-art equipment. They handle a diverse range of procedures in specialties such as Orthopedic Surgery, ENT, GI, Podiatry, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Colon and Rectal Surgery, and General Surgery. The center features 6 operating rooms and is a joint venture with USPI, emphasizing a collaborative environment for growth and learning. The position offers a work-life balance with no call responsibilities and holidays off.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedic Surgery, ENT, GI, Pain Management etc.
