About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient oncology team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of current experience in oncology. Our outpatient clinic sees an average of 15-25 patients per day. This position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license in South Dakota
- BLS certification
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
- Experience with EPIC Ambulatory system
- Previous clinic experience is required
- Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience
- At least 1 year of current experience in oncology
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients, including taking vital signs and conducting a review of systems
- Performing medication reconciliation
- Obtaining and processing patient orders for infusions
- Chart checking and managing referrals
- Setting up for procedures and providing support as needed
