About The Position

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in post-operative care and a commitment to high-quality nursing practices. The unit is a Medical/Surgical/Orthopedic unit with 32 beds and nurse-patient ratios of 4:1, supported by 2-3 Patient Care Technicians on the day shift. Patients may include those recovering from various surgical procedures, including colorectal, urological, bariatric, hepatobiliary, hysterectomies, breast reconstructions, and chemotherapy and oncology patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably within the last 6 months.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong post-operative assessment and time management skills.
• Travel nurses must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (maximum of 2 attempts).
• Completion of a pass/fail simulation lab on the first day of orientation.
• Telemetry experience is essential.

• ONS Chemo Provider Card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care.

• Administer chemotherapy.
• Provide palliative care using high-flow oxygen.
