About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology, working in an Endocrine Clinic. The role involves caring for adult patients with various hematologic and oncologic diagnoses. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role is suitable for first-time travelers and requires one year of experience in Oncology nursing. The clinic has a daily census of 80-100 patients across 16 rooms and utilizes EPIC for documentation.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- 1 year of experience in Oncology nursing
- BLS certification
- Experience with adult patient demographics
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification
- OCN certification
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients with oncologic and endocrine diagnoses.
- Administer treatments and monitor patient progress.
- Document patient care in the EPIC system.
- Float to other areas as needed.
