About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Oncology Clinic at James Cancer Hospital. This position involves providing care to oncology patients undergoing treatment and requiring symptom management. The clinic treats a variety of cancer diagnoses including Head and Neck, Sarcoma, CNS, Thoracic, All Peds, and GU cancers. Patients range from infants to geriatrics.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in an Oncology Clinic setting.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with EPIC documentation system.
- Ability to float within the clinic as needed.
Nice To Haves
- ONS certification.
- OCN certification.
- PALS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to oncology patients currently receiving treatment.
- Manage patient symptoms.
- Administer treatments to oncology patients.
- Work within a clinic setting treating various cancer diagnoses.
- Care for a diverse patient demographic including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
