About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology for a 13-week travel assignment in Malta, NY. The Outpatient Infusion Center is dedicated to providing patient care excellence. We offer a comfortable and convenient outpatient setting for those who require frequent infusions of medications. Infusion services are provided by a staff of registered nurses who specialize in intravenous therapy.

Requirements

• 2+ years Current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion
• Chemo Cert (ONS) and Oncology Certified RN (OCN)
• Peripheral IV Insertion experience
• Port/Fistula/Catheter experience
• EPIC Experience
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
• Drug screen and background check (facility required)

• Assessing patients
• Administering cancer treatments
• Explaining the treatments and answering questions for patients
• Managing the side effects of cancer treatments and helping manage pain
