About The Position

This position operates within a multidisciplinary team to support clinical research from implementation of a protocol/trial, to patient support, through active data monitoring.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of oncology experience
- Superb organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable with autonomous and independent work
- MA RN license
- BLS and ACLS
Nice To Haves
- IV certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with local hematology/oncology physicians, nurses, pharmacy, office support staff as well as other research members across the BILH network to stay up to date with new and ongoing oncology research and operations
- Assists investigators to meet the needs defined by particular studies
- Works alongside providers to recruit and consent patients to various trials
- Provides both supportive and direct patient care to those who enroll to a trial including scheduling collaboration, symptom monitoring and maintenance, and follow up care/monitoring
- Acts as an active member on all multidisciplinary tumor boards and department committees
