About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Obstetrics (OB) in Ogdensburg, NY. The contract is for 13 weeks and begins on 10/05/2026. The role is based in a hospital setting and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, with a weekly pay range of $2,120 to $2,195. The typical shift is three 12-hour day shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment (New York)
- Current BLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Labor and Delivery and Newborn care experience; minimum 2 years in the field
- COVID vaccine not required; Flu vaccine or declination accepted; mask required if declining
Nice To Haves
- EFM experience preferred
- STABLE certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) as assigned
- Assist during labor and delivery and provide immediate newborn care
- Administer medications and perform routine assessments per plan of care
- Collaborate with the obstetrics team to respond to emergencies and ensure patient safety
- Document care and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record
