About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Observation department at Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, TX. The position is full-time and operates on a day shift schedule. The nurse will be responsible for implementing and tracking patient care plans, monitoring and communicating patient condition updates, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, executing physician orders, and managing discharge planning.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

Implement and track customized, evidence-based patient care plans to optimize recovery.
Record and communicate real-time clinical updates and condition changes to the care team.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, well-aligned patient care.
Precisely carry out physician and advanced nursing directives with absolute clinical accuracy.
Evaluate and manage complex discharge planning needs to guarantee safe patient transitions.
