About The Position

The Observation Unit at Deaconess Midtown is one of our newest inpatient units, offering nurses the unique chance to help shape the culture, grow alongside the team, and be part of something exciting from the beginning. This 23-bed unit provides short-term care for patients requiring further evaluation, treatment, and diagnosis, with most patients transitioning to admission or discharge within 8–24 hours. With a wide variety of patient conditions and remote telemetry capabilities, nurses develop strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment where every shift brings something different. Daily collaboration with physicians, case management, therapy, and social work creates a highly team-oriented atmosphere focused on delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license
