About The Position
Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem Registered Nurse in the Women’s Clinic. The Women’s Clinic provides family planning, infertility diagnosis and treatment, and pregnancy and gynecological care to women of all ages. This role involves working in a team that includes doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, residents, pharmacists, medical assistants, social workers, nutritionists, cultural case managers, and interpreters. Prenatal care is provided at Harborview, with deliveries at UW Medical Center.
Requirements
- Active Washington State or Multi-State RN License
- Minimum of 2 years of women’s health experience, preferably in both obstetrics and gynecology
- ACLS and BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Provide medical advice in urgent and routine situations
- Support clinic staff as a clinical resource
- Participate in patient education and care coordination
- Provide direction and support in staff learning situations
