Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem
About The Position
Comfort Home Care is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per-Diem positions in the Haverhill/Lawrence area. This role offers a better work/life balance and the opportunity to make a real impact on patients' lives by providing compassionate care in their homes. Nurses help psychiatric and home health patients remain independent, avoid unnecessary hospitalizations, and receive care in the comfort of their own homes. The compensation is $35 per visit, with an expectation of two visits per hour on average. Comfort Home Care has been a leader in psychiatric and home health nursing for over 17 years, offering nurses flexibility, autonomy, and support.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- One year of nursing experience.
- A drive to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Reliable transportation for patient visits.
Nice To Haves
- Home health or psych nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess and adapt to each patient's current condition, medical needs, and overall well-being.
- Create and modify patient care plans based on their needs and adjusting care as conditions change.
- Teach and support patients, whether it's medication guidance for psychiatric patients or wound care for post-op patients, to help them stay independent at home.
- Communicate and coordinate with providers, families, and care teams to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
- Document patient visits accurately from home for compliance and continuity of care.
