About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN for a 13-week travel assignment in Mt. Pleasant, MI. This position involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour guarantee. The role requires collaboration with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans, provide bedside nursing care, carry out medical orders, and delegate tasks to support staff. The nurse will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the care plan.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Must have 2+ years of OB experience
AWHONN must be within the last two years
Must have and maintain current ACLS (AHA)
Must have and maintain current NRP
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

Collaborates with physician to provide a plan of care that will return the patient to optimal health.
Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders.
Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk and Psychiatric Tech functions.
Responsible for evaluating effectiveness of care plan.
