About The Position

Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to provide excellent patient care with direction from Physicians and/or APP. May be responsible to maintain appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, advanced practice providers, Medical Director, and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring and respective manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment preferred.
  • Current and valid New Jersey RN.
  • Current and valid BCLS certification required.
  • Ability to use effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.).
  • Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required.
  • Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care.
  • Ability to use effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations.
  • Strong communication both oral and written and presentation skills to convey information in a clear and concise manner to persons of varied age groups, customers and/or groups.
  • Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team.
