Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, design, implement, and evaluate multi-faceted, competency-based nursing education plans and Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs across the continuum of care.
  • Serve as a strategic consultant on clinical performance initiatives, advising leadership on performance processes and delivery mechanisms to optimize nursing workflows.
  • Partner closely with organizational leaders and staff to identify clinical education needs, define core competencies, and manage standards for inter-professional programs.
  • Utilize evidence-based methods, measurements, and analytical tools to track learning goal achievements and ensure clinical practice aligns with the highest extent of licensure.
