Registered Nurse - Nurse Manager - Child & Adolescent Psych - Full Time - Day Shift
About The Position
The Nurse Manager utilizes the nursing process to assess patient needs, identify plans of care, and implement and evaluate care. The role provides direct and indirect patient care and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. The Nurse Manager leads employees to accomplish job objectives and inspires confidence and motivation to enhance employee satisfaction. This full-time position is based at Cox North in Springfield, Missouri, in the Child Adolescent Psych department. It is a day-shift role with 36 scheduled weekly hours and varied hours. Qualified candidates receive $1.00 certification pay and $1.00 BSN pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective leadership abilities.
- Valuable time management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- At least five years of clinical experience.
- One year of charge nurse experience.
- One year of experience in the area of specialization.
