About The Position

The Assistant Nurse Manager for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry uses the nursing process to assess patients’ needs, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate care. The role provides direct and indirect patient care and leads the patient care team toward achieving goals in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. The Assistant Nurse Manager leads employees in accomplishing job objectives and fosters confidence and motivation to support employee satisfaction.

This is a full-time, day-shift position at Cox North in Springfield, Missouri, with 36 scheduled hours per week and varied hours. Qualified candidates receive $1.00 certification pay and $1.00 BSN pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership abilities.
• Valuable time-management skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least five years of clinical experience.
• One year of charge nurse experience.
• One year of experience in the area of specialization.
