Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a maternal and early childhood home visiting program that fosters long-term success for first-time parents and their babies, aiming to address systemic problems in the community. This role, in partnership with Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana, takes a holistic, whole-family approach to social services. The Nurse Home Visitor conducts home visits during pregnancy and until the child is two years old, providing coaching and care to expectant clients. The position involves developing therapeutic relationships using concepts of reflection and motivational interviewing, modeling client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches. The role requires maintaining high standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to NFP model guidelines, as well as policies of the lead agency, Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana. The Nurse Home Visitor will be part of a team including other Nurse Home Visitors and a Nurse Supervisor.
