About The Position

This role involves providing direct nursing care within the NICU department, adhering to established policies and protocols. The nurse will implement, monitor, and record patient care plans and conditions, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and carry out physician and nursing orders. A key responsibility includes assessing and managing patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• 1+ year of recent experience in NICU.

Nice To Haves

• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
