About The Position

Starr Regional Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a New Graduate RN, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you begin your nursing career. Our evidence-based Nurse Residency Program provides hands-on, structured support to help you transition from a new graduate to a confident, competent registered nurse. You’ll be automatically enrolled in our comprehensive 12-month program, structured across three key phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development. Each phase is thoughtfully designed to guide your growth, strengthen your skills, and build confidence in delivering patient care. We have a great culture here. Most employees that work here at STARR have been here for many years. We have a brand new ICU. Set schedules and rotations is something our team enjoys.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited nursing school
  • RN Licensure
  • BCLS

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a commitment to patient-centered care by performing comprehensive assessments, identifying patient needs, and initiating appropriate interventions.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members to deliver safe, high-quality care.
