About The Position

The Orthopedic, Spine, and Surgical Department is a 26-bed unit that focuses on providing care for patients requiring orthopedic, spine and/or general surgery. The unit was remodeled in 2008 to emulate a 5-star hotel where our team provides 5-star service excellence. Our Total Joint Program provides pre and post-operative care, education and follow-up.

Requirements

(BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) or (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
1 year of clinical nursing experience
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)
Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)

Nice To Haves

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on clinical area standards.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on clinical area standards.
