RN / Registered Nurse - Neurosurgery, Ortho, Sports & Spine
About The Position
Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our 5NJB Neurosurgery, Ortho Spine, and Sports Medicine Clinic. This is a full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week position, with a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday. The Neurological Surgery Clinic provides comprehensive assessment and management of neurological conditions. The Spine Center offers a multidisciplinary approach to spine care, focusing on maximizing function restoration. The Sports Medicine Center provides a full range of sports medicine services, including non-operative and surgical care, diagnostic imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and physical therapy. The position is conveniently located near public transportation and offers opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- Active, valid Washington State or Multi-state RN license required by start date
- At least 2 years of RN clinical work experience
Responsibilities
- Coordination of care and the education of patients during the pre-surgical and post-surgical period
- Lead in patient assessment and the flow of the clinics
- Triage patients for acute neurological changes
- Triaging patients on multiple platforms including phone, MyChart, and in person
