RN / Registered Nurse - Neurosurgery, Ortho, Sports & Spine
About The Position
Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our 5NJB Neurosurgery, Ortho Spine, and Sports Medicine Clinic. The Neurological Surgery Clinic provides comprehensive assessment and management of neurological conditions. The clinic is staffed by attending physicians who evaluate patients for advanced elective procedures and diagnostic studies. The Spine Center provides a cost-effective multidisciplinary approach to spine care, aiming to maximize the restoration of function. The Sports Medicine Center offers a full range of sports medicine services, including thorough, non-operative and surgical care, diagnostic imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Active, valid Washington State or Multi-state RN license required by start date
- At least 2 years of RN clinical work experience
Responsibilities
- Coordination of care and the education of patients during the pre-surgical and post-surgical period
- Lead in patient assessment and the flow of the clinics
- Triage patients for acute neurological changes
- Triaging patients on multiple platforms including phone, MyChart, and in person
