About The Position

Via Christi St Francis is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Neuro Trauma ICU. This full-time night position involves leading holistic patient care, orchestrating the multidisciplinary team, championing patient advocacy, and navigating patient transitions to home. Ascension, the parent organization, is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system committed to reimagining healthcare.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Lead holistic patient care by executing personalized care plans and monitoring clinical conditions to ensure every patient receives safe, evidence-based treatment.
• Orchestrate the multidisciplinary team as the primary care coordinator, ensuring seamless communication between specialties for a unified approach to healing.
• Champion patient advocacy by accurately translating physician orders into bedside action while maintaining the highest standards of clinical protocol.
• Navigate the transition to home by proactively assessing and coordinating discharge needs, ensuring patients and families feel confident and supported beyond our walls.
