Registered Nurse—Neuro and Trauma ICU (NTICU)—Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Sign-On for Eligible New Hires WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 WORK HOURS: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs/week. Requirements

Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
BCLS upon hire – Require upon Hire
ACLS upon hire - Require upon Hire
CPI within 30 days of hire
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
One or more years of ICU experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
