About The Position

Join the Ambulatory Clinic as a Nephrology Transplant RN, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, specialized care to transplant patients in a collaborative outpatient setting. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with one closing shift per week from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, supporting work-life balance while advancing your clinical expertise. Requirements

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
