About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Procedural setting, specializing in Nephrology Transplant. Both part-time and full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus. The role involves delivering compassionate, specialized care to transplant patients in a collaborative outpatient setting. The schedule is generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with one closing shift per week from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area.
  • Familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective and timely manner.
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
