About The Position

Responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of his/her training and expertise, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes is met. This is done in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Tennessee. Full-time (36 hours/week), nights (6:45p - 6:45a) The Mom/Baby Unit consists of 24 beds. The patient population: post-partum females (post recovery), stable newborns, postoperative GYN patients, stable antepartum patients. Nurses hired onto the Mom/Baby Unit are cross trained to NICU and Labor & Delivery and could be floated to these areas if the need arises.

Relevant Work Experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
Less than 1 year experience

Responsibilities
