About The Position
This is a Mother Baby Registered Nurse position. The schedule varies, with shifts typically from 7 PM to 7 AM. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty is required. AHA BLS certification is mandatory. Holiday expectations include working two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Mother Baby nursing.
- Required AHA BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to mothers and newborns in the Mother Baby unit.
- Administer nursing care according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
