About The Position

Centurion is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join their team at the Florida Women's Reception Center in Ocala, Florida. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, the RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of the patients.

Requirements

• Florida RN license or ability to obtain license
• Current CPR
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

• Corrections experience not required

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
