About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Institution in Jessup, Maryland. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred but not required
- Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred
