About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Telemetry Neuro/Stroke Unit, 2 East. New Grads Welcome! This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients. The unit, 2 East Neuro, is a 21-bed med/surg/stroke unit where dedicated professionals collaborate seamlessly to provide unparalleled patient care. This specialty offers the opportunity to become a NIHSS (Stroke Certified Nurse).
Requirements
- ADN required
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
