About The Position

MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. We are actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Telemetry Unit. We focus on supporting our colleagues, allowing them to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. We offer clinical instruction and learning opportunities through our Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency program. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (ASN/BSN)
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties.
• Care for patients from birth through the end of life.
• Practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
• Complete Telemetry Unit Nurse Residency program.
