About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Registered Nurse for the 4 East Medical Surgical unit. This position is ideal for candidates who have experience or interest in caring for surgical patients that have had General Surgery, Gastrointestinal, OB-Gyn, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Nephrology, and more. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 offered!! No commitment or contract required.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Nursing (Required)
• Registered Nurse (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous acute care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
• Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation.
• Ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
• Possessing clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
