Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (PRN)
About The Position
As a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical team at Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, you will be part of a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. The Med Surg/Telemetry unit provides nurses with the opportunity to care for a diverse adult patient population, including medical, telemetry, and post-surgical patients. Requirements
- Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire
- Associate’s degree in nursing required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
