About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Step-Down) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rome, NY.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of step-down and/or telemetry experience
- Experience with adult/geriatric patients
- RN ratio: 6:1
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a step-down unit
- Monitor patient status, including telemetry and vital signs, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR system
- Ensure patient safety and follow hospital policies and clinical standards
