About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care for both adult and pediatric populations in a Medical/Surgical setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, clinically confident, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment with minimal orientation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active Maine RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Adult and Pediatric patient care experience preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric Medical/Surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively during emergency situations and critical patient events
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional nursing standards
