We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available on our Medical Progressive Care unit at Methodist Hospital! This 24-bed ICU stepdown unit provides hands-on care for complex medical patients with stroke, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell, acute/end stage liver failure, alcohol withdrawal and substance abuse overdose, along with a multitude of other co-morbidities. On this unit, you will make an immediate impact on our patient's lives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse
  • The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
