About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Medical/Surgical unit. The unit handles patients undergoing surgeries such as joint replacements, spine procedures, and bariatrics. The department emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and provides resources like patient care techs, phlebotomy, and transport to support seamless patient care. Flexible scheduling and overtime opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- 1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- Texas RN license – upon hire required
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
